Photographs of Shape and Line
In the first picture of the blinds, it was taken in my house. The subject of the picture is clearly the blinds. The photo was taken from almost right up against the blinds at one side and meant to take the viewer's eye down the rest of the blinds. The photo was taken straight on and to be honest I didn't use the rule of thirds was not used when I took the photo. The photo of the blinds is a dynamic composition that leads the viewer from the close side of the blinds all the way down to the end of the blinds on the far side.
Pattern and Texture Photos
The best photo I took was #5 (the bottom middle photo). The distance is a close up angle that follow the texture of the wall all the way down the wall. The POV for the most part is straight on. The photo was taken horizontally to capture as much of the wall as possible. It does follow the rule of thirds because my main focus is in the top left hand corner of the photo where it appears much darker than the rest of the photo. The photo shows texture because the wall has a rough looking texture on it. The most properly exposed photo that i took is #5. In the top right hand corner it has dark values. As you look at the wall from left to right, the photo gets brighter.
